Tom Kerby

Senior Engineer


Tom has more than 30 years of engineering experience in civil engineering and land development projects. Tom has worked on the Meridian Ranch subdivision since inception of the project in 1999 while employed as a project manager/engineer at URS Corporation and later at PBS & J in Colorado Springs. He left PBS & J to start up Techbilt’s construction and design team in Colorado in 2007.  As lead engineer of Meridian Ranch, Tom is responsible for overseeing the processing of subdivision entitlements preparing drainage reports, designing roadways, water distribution systems, wastewater collection facilities and drainage systems, as well as coordinating the master planned development to ensure engineering and development standards are consistent.

Tom graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.  As a Professional Engineer, he is licensed in both the states of Colorado and California. He is the District Engineer for the Meridian Service Metropolitan District, which supplies water, wastewater, park and recreation services to Meridian Ranch.

Tom enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, white water rafting, hockey and gardening.  He has been married to his wife, Shawn for 24 years and has four children. Tom serves on several boards including the Falcon Fire Protection District as well as the Woodmen Road Metropolitan District.
